For a child born with profound hearing loss, a cochlear implant is often the difference between silence and a world full of sound. The surgery, and the years of listening practice that follow, are what make speech possible.
The cost, though, can be more than a family can carry. Part of our work is helping families who cannot afford it reach the surgery and the therapy their child needs. That work is made possible by people who choose to give.
